Let it be known: Making a relevant sartorial resurgence this season are elastic cotton headbands, and in true mod fashion, the accessory is usually worn far forward with the wide piece of fabric deliberately covering the hairline. So chic, so nostalgic!

While Gigi Hadid on Miu Miu's Spring 2023 runway might've sparked the craze, we also gotta give it to Margot Robbie's baby blue polka-dotted headband in the Barbie movie for spawning thousands of fashionistas following suit. It surely doesn't hurt that Hollywood's effortless it girls—like Nicola Peltz Beckham and Kendall Jenner—are also seemingly head-over-heels for this accessory du jour, making a stronger case for the Y2K-inspired headband.
